Garbage headline the Iveagh Gardens on Saturday 18 July 2026 as part of Live at the Iveagh Gardens, one of Dublin’s most beloved outdoor concert series. Fronted by the inimitable Shirley Manson alongside Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig, Garbage have sold over 17 million albums worldwide since their formation in the mid-1990s. Their catalogue is packed with alternative rock classics and they remain a thrilling live act, capable of delivering an evening of genuine force and spectacle.

This is one of the highlights of a packed Iveagh Gardens summer programme. The intimate garden setting, with its lush greenery and backdrop of Victorian architecture, makes it one of the most atmospheric outdoor venues in Ireland. whenyoung are confirmed as special guests, bringing their melodic indie-pop sound as the perfect warm-up to the headline set.

Expect classics including Stupid Girl, Only Happy When It Rains, Queer, Push It and Androgyny alongside tracks from their recent work. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are available via Ticketmaster.

Getting There

The Iveagh Gardens are a short walk from St Stephen’s Green Luas stop on both the Red and Green lines. Numerous Dublin Bus routes stop on Harcourt Street, a two-minute walk from the venue entrance on Clonmel Street. The venue is not accessible by car on event nights.
