Gospel According to Drums

At 20-21 Lee Rd · 20-21 Lee Rd, Dublin

Gospel According to Drums

Drum-led worship and live gospel music come together for a free afternoon event on the northside of Dublin. Organised by Gifted.T, Gospel According to Drums is a Christian praise gathering built around the energy of percussion - not a quiet Sunday service, but a full-band, rhythm-driven experience open to anyone who wants to come along. If you enjoy gospel music, live drumming, or simply a free afternoon of something a bit different, this is worth your time. All ages are welcome, and the atmosphere is described as inclusive and community-focused.

What to expect

The event runs from 4pm to 8pm at 20-21 Lee Road, in the Dublin Industrial Estate off Finglas Road in Dublin 11. The venue is a working industrial unit repurposed for the afternoon - expect an informal, no-frills setting where the music does the talking.

Gifted.T has shaped the event around dynamic drumming as the centrepiece of worship, with gospel vocals and live music woven around it. The core idea is a spiritual encounter driven by rhythm - percussive, energetic, and designed to be felt as much as heard. The message is faith-based, centred on Christian praise, but the doors are open to everyone. Free parking is available on-site, which is useful given the location in an industrial estate where street parking is limited.

Capacity is limited, so it is worth registering on Eventbrite in advance even though there is no charge.

Getting there

Dublin Industrial Estate sits roughly 4km north of the city centre, close to Glasnevin and just off the Finglas Road. By car, take the N2/Finglas Road northbound and turn into the industrial estate - free parking is available. By public transport, several bus routes run along Finglas Road including the 40 and 83 series. The Luas Red Line stops at Broombridge, a short walk or bus hop from the estate. From the city centre, the journey is straightforward and takes around 15-20 minutes by bus.

While you’re in Dublin

Dublin 11 sits alongside Glasnevin, home to the National Botanic Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetery Museum - both worth a visit before or after the event. There is more to see in Dublin and across Co. Dublin.
