Comedy in the Lobby with Ronan Grace

Comedy in the Lobby returns to Siamsa Tíre on Friday, 14 August 2026, with Tralee comedian Ronan Grace headlining a bill of Kerry stand-up talent. The show is staged in the theatre’s own lobby rather than the main auditorium, a smaller, closer setting that suits stand-up better than a full stage. It is the second outing for the night, after a sell-out debut earlier in the year, and lands the weekend before Rose of Tralee, giving it an easy billing as a warm-up for festival season in the town.

Ronan Grace headlines, backed by a support bill of Taran O’Sullivan, Aaron McCarthy, Ted Cronin and Jim O’Callaghan, billed together as the Kerry Comedy All-Stars, a mix of well-known circuit names and some of the county’s faster-rising acts sharing one stage. Organisers describe the pairing as combining “some of the best talent in the country with some of the fastest rising stars in the county,” and the lobby setting keeps the room intimate rather than cavernous, with the audience close enough to the performers that the material stays sharp and responsive. Snacks and drinks can be pre-ordered when booking tickets, so there is no need to queue at the bar mid-show. Tickets are limited given the smaller space, and Siamsa Tíre advises booking ahead rather than turning up on the night, particularly with Rose of Tralee week driving extra footfall into town.

Siamsa Tíre sits in Tralee’s Town Park, a short walk from the town centre and Tralee’s combined railway and bus station, which has direct Irish Rail and Bus Éireann services from Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Pay-and-display parking is available around the Town Park and on nearby streets.
