Shane Todd: Hold Me Back

Comedian Shane Todd plays the Set Theatre in Kilkenny on Friday, 4 September 2026, bringing his new stand-up show Hold Me Back to the John Street venue. The Set Theatre sits inside the Langton House Hotel complex on John Street in Kilkenny city centre, a short walk from the Parade and the Market Cross shopping area. Kilkenny’s train and bus station on Dublin Road is roughly a ten-minute walk away, and there is pay parking nearby, including at the Ormonde Road multi-storey close to the venue.

John Street has a good spread of bars and restaurants for a pre-show meal, and it is a short stroll from the medieval heart of the city around Kilkenny Castle and the Parade. There is more to see in Kilkenny and across Co. Kilkenny.
