At National Concert Hall · Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2
Laurie Anderson is one of the most singular artists of the past fifty years. Her work spans performance art, music, film, spoken word and technology, and her ability to make profound observations about culture, language and American life has never been sharper than in recent years. This National Concert Hall performance on 11 July 2026 is part of the NCH Perspectives series, which consistently delivers some of the most important concerts the venue stages.
Republic of Love with Sexmob is described as a collection of songs and stories about the current state of America, with some history thrown in. Anderson performs alongside Steven Bernstein on trumpet, Briggan Krauss on alto saxophone, Doug Wieselman on guitar and woodwinds, Tony Scherr on bass and Kenny Wollesen on drums, with Mazz Swift and Christina Courtin on violin and backing vocals. Big Science and Language Is A Virus are among the songs taking on new meanings in this 2026 context.
This is as close to essential as any concert scheduled in Dublin this summer. It was selling out when last checked.
