Longitude Festival Dublin

At Marlay Park · Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 6

Longitude Festival Dublin music stage

Longitude is Dublin’s biggest outdoor music festival - two days of hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and pop acts spread across multiple stages at Marlay Park in Rathfarnham. It draws tens of thousands of people each July, regularly sells out months in advance, and has built a reputation as the loudest, most energetic weekend on the Irish summer calendar. If your idea of a good time is a big crowd, big sound systems, and a roster of acts you’ve been streaming all year, this is the one to plan around.

What to expect

Marlay Park is a 300-acre public park roughly 9km south of the city centre, and Longitude fills a large section of it with stages, food stalls, bars, and the kind of crowd that travels from across Ireland and beyond. The festival runs across Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026, with gates opening in the afternoon and headliners typically finishing around 11pm.

Past editions have featured artists including Tyler the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and The Weeknd, which gives you a sense of the ambition. The 2026 lineup was still being built at time of writing - check the official site for the full bill as it is announced.

The venue is standing only, so wear good footwear. Irish July weather is unpredictable - layers, a light rain jacket or poncho, and sun cream are all worth packing. Bags must be A4 size or smaller. Sealed plastic water bottles up to 500ml are allowed in; glass, cans, and umbrellas are not. Download your ticket to your phone before you arrive - screenshots will not be accepted at the gate, and phone signal inside can be patchy once it fills up.

Getting there

Marlay Park is served by Dublin Bus route 16, which runs from the city centre directly to the park. Route 14 also brings you close. Dedicated festival buses and a ConcertExpress shuttle service typically run from the city centre for major events - check Transport for Ireland and the festival website in advance and book your return journey early, as services fill up. If driving, pre-booked parking is available via the College Road entrance. Allow plenty of extra time getting in and out - the crowd is large and exits are slow. There is no re-entry once you leave the site.
