Marlay Park Summer Concerts 2026

At Marlay Park · Marlay Park, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16

Outdoor concert at Marlay Park Dublin

Marlay Park draws tens of thousands each summer to a 300-acre parkland on the southern edge of Dublin, and its outdoor concert series has become one of Ireland’s standout live music fixtures. Organised by MCD Productions, the 2026 programme runs across June and July, with gates opening at 5pm for each show.

What to expect

The 2026 season is one of the strongest in memory. Confirmed acts include Lewis Capaldi, The Cure, Florence + The Machine, Calvin Harris, Mumford and Sons, and Olivia Dean, with support slots worth arriving early for. The venue holds up to 40,000 but the park’s gently sloping terrain keeps the atmosphere better than most venues of this size.

All concerts are standing only; chairs and collapsible seating will be confiscated at the gates. Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and glass, cans, alcohol, and umbrellas are banned. Tickets are digital only via the Ticketmaster app - have your live barcode ready before you arrive. There is no re-entry once you leave the site. Food and drink vendors are on site throughout.

Dress for Irish summer: layers, a rain jacket, and boots you don’t mind getting wet. It can cool sharply after dark even in July.

Getting there

Marlay Park sits in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, on Grange Road, roughly 9km south of the city centre. Public transport is the practical choice - parking is minimal and road closures affect the area from around 10pm onward.

Dublin Bus routes 16 and 74, and Go Ahead’s S8, serve the area. Marathon Coaches runs dedicated shuttles from Earlsfort Terrace in the city centre and from Dundrum Town Centre, which connects with the LUAS Green Line. Post-concert taxi pickup is on Brehon Field Road; car collections use Nutgrove Shopping Centre. Book return travel in advance - services fill fast.

While you’re in Rathfarnham

Rathfarnham village is worth a look before gates open. Rathfarnham Castle, managed by the OPW, sits just outside the park and opens on selected days. There is more to see in Rathfarnham and across Co. Dublin.
