Maroon 5 at Malahide Castle

Maroon 5 bring their closing-night headline slot to one of Ireland’s finest outdoor concert settings on 30 June 2026, rounding out the full Malahide Castle summer series. Adam Levine and the band have been releasing radio staples for the best part of twenty years - from the funk-pop of their early records through to the polished pop of their recent run - and a big outdoor crowd is exactly where that catalogue lands best. It suits anyone who wants a proper live event in the open air rather than a standing-room venue: families with teenagers, a group who want a summer night out, or pop fans who know every word.

What to expect

Support acts Jess Glynne and Voila open the evening before Maroon 5 take the stage. Gates open at 5pm and the show gets going at 6pm. Maroon 5 have catalogued enough singles to fill a setlist that barely repeats itself - Moves Like Jagger, Sugar, Payphone, This Love, She Will Be Loved, Girls Like You, Maps, Animals - a set built around audience participation and a production that fills the castle grounds.

The venue is standing only, with food and drink traders on site throughout. Bags must be A4 size or smaller; glass, cans, umbrellas, and chairs are not permitted. You can bring a sealed plastic bottle of water (500ml max) or an empty reusable bottle - water stations are on site. No re-entry once you leave. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult over 25; under-18s need school or college ID alongside a colour passport copy.

Download your ticket via the Ticketmaster app before you arrive and bring a battery pack - queues at entry move faster without paper.

Getting there

The castle car park closes at 2pm on concert days, so driving is not a practical option. Malahide DART station is roughly a 15-minute walk from the grounds, with direct services from Connolly, Tara Street, Pearse, and Grand Canal Dock. Dublin Bus routes H2 and 42 serve Malahide from the city centre, and route 102 runs from Dublin Airport. Concert Express also runs dedicated return buses from several Dublin locations including city centre, Swords, Blanchardstown, and Finglas - book in advance as these fill quickly for headline nights.

While you’re in Malahide

Malahide village itself is worth arriving early for: the main street has a good spread of cafes, pubs, and restaurants within easy walking distance of the castle gates, and the castle grounds and coastal park are there if you want to stretch out before the show. There is more to see in Malahide and across Co. Dublin.
