What to Expect

Navan Adventure Centre’s Pumpkin and Fun Family Halloween Festival takes over Navan Racecourse from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 October 2026, running 11am to 5pm each day across the mid-term break. Aimed at children aged 3 to 12, the festival gives every paying child their own pumpkin to carve plus access to 13 indoor and outdoor activities, including laser tag, pedalo boats, an obstacle course, mini golf and pedal go-karts, spread across the racecourse grounds for the three-day run. A sensory-friendly session runs at 10.30am and 11.30am on the opening day, 24 October, aimed at children who prefer a calmer, lower-stimulation environment before the site opens to the wider public that day. Optional extras on the day include face painting, carousel rides, food vendors and market stalls, meaning families can build a full day out around the core pumpkin and activity ticket. As an outdoor, racecourse-based event rather than an indoor one, it is worth checking the forecast and dressing for the weather, since Navan Racecourse sits on open ground on the edge of town.

Getting There

Navan Racecourse is on the Proudstown Road on the edge of Navan, with on-site parking available for the festival across all three days.
