What to Expect

Swift Summer Open 2026 is a free, open-submission group exhibition at Swift Cultural Centre in Trim, celebrating the richness and diversity of local visual arts. It brings together work by artists at all stages of their careers from Trim and the surrounding area, spanning painting, drawing, sculpture, print and mixed media. The exhibition fills the centre’s gallery spaces with a mix of established and emerging voices working side by side, giving visitors a snapshot of what local artists in and around Meath’s county town have been making over the past year. It is a low-key, no-booking-required way to see a broad cross-section of regional visual art in one visit.

Getting There

Swift Cultural Centre is on High Street in the centre of Trim, a short walk from Trim Castle and the town’s main car parks. Trim is served by Bus Eireann routes from Dublin, Navan and Athboy, with the bus stop close to the town centre. Drivers can use the pay car parks on Castle Street and around the town centre, all within a few minutes’ walk of the venue.
