What to Expect

Midleton Farmers Market is Ireland’s original farmers market, founded by Darina Allen and local producers in 2000. The market runs every Saturday morning at Fair Green in the centre of Midleton, with traders selling organic and conventional fruit and vegetables, organic beef and rare-breed pork, fresh fish, artisan cheeses, woodfired pizza, homemade breads, cakes and chocolates. Local musicians play most Saturdays, giving the market a lively community atmosphere.

Getting There

Midleton is approximately 25 km east of Cork City; served by regular Bus Eireann services from Cork City (approx. 35 minutes). Fair Green is in the town centre, a short walk from the bus stop.
