At 3Arena · North Wall Quay, Dublin 1
Noah Kahan has made the journey from Vermont bedroom recordings to selling out arenas across the world, and his August 2026 Dublin show at the 3Arena is a natural stop on that trajectory. The American singer-songwriter built his reputation through Stick Season, an album of folk-pop songs about place, belonging, and the particular kind of loneliness that sets in when somewhere feels like home and not quite home at the same time. His music pulls a devoted crowd - people who know every word and mean every word - and a 3Arena show brings that energy into one of the largest indoor venues in the country.
Kahan’s current tour, The Great Divide, blends tracks from his latest album with the fan favourites that made him: Stick Season, Dial Drunk, Northern Attitude, Homesick, and Everywhere Everything all feature regularly in the set. Live, he plays with warmth and directness, often speaking between songs, and the shows tend to feel communal rather than polished and distant. Support on the tour has come from Gigi Perez, whose single Sailor Song has won her a strong following in her own right.
The 3Arena holds up to 14,500 people in its standing configuration. The floor fills up early, so if you want space near the stage it is worth arriving at doors (6:30pm) rather than closer to the headline slot.
The 3Arena sits on North Wall Quay in the Dublin Docklands, about 25 minutes’ walk east from O’Connell Bridge. The easiest way to get there by public transport is the Luas Red Line - alight at The Point stop, which is right beside the venue. Dublin Bus route 151 runs every ten minutes during peak hours and stops on Castleforbes Road, a two-minute walk away.
If you are driving, the nearest car park is The Point Village; Q-Park IFSC is another option close by. Parking near the venue fills fast on concert nights, so public transport is the cleaner choice.
The Docklands area has changed considerably over the past twenty years, and the walk along the Liffey quays from the city centre gives a good sense of it. There is more to see in Dublin and across Co. Dublin.
