Paris Bubbles: The Ultimate Bubble Show

At glor · Causeway Link, Ennis, Co. Clare, V95 VHP0

Ray Bubbles performing giant bubble sculptures on stage

Ray Bubbles is an international bubbleologist and Guinness World Record holder, and his 60-minute science-theatre show is one of those rare events that genuinely works for every age in the room. Children sit forward. Adults who came along to be dutiful end up just as caught. The show plays at glór in Ennis on Friday 17 July 2026, and it is a particularly good choice for families with neurodivergent children or adults, as the performance was built with those audiences in mind from the start.

What to expect

Ray’s mission throughout the show is to create the ultimate square bubble - a running thread that gives the whole 60 minutes a sense of drama. Along the way he works through a sequence of effects using different gases: a volcano bubble, a soap bubble carousel, a bubble ghost, and a tornado spinning inside a bubble. These are not party tricks. The show carries real science content, and Ray’s background in SEND schools and adult neurodivergent groups across Europe means the pacing and sensory level have been carefully considered. The glór event page confirms the show is suitable for children and adults with additional needs. Babies under 18 months do not need a ticket.

Getting there

Ennis is the county town of Clare, roughly 30km south of Galway and 30km north of Limerick, with good road links via the M18 motorway. Bus Éireann runs regular services into Ennis from both cities and from Limerick’s Colbert Station, which connects to the rail network. Ennis also has its own train station on the Limerick - Ennis line.

glór sits on Causeway Link, close to the town centre and a short walk from the bus station. There is an adjacent car park with 90 spaces and one hour of free parking - tickets are required from 9am to 6pm. Accessible parking bays are close to the main entrance, and the building is fully wheelchair accessible with a lift to the gallery and balcony.

While you’re in Ennis

The show runs at 10:30am, which leaves the afternoon free. Ennis has a compact town centre with good independent cafés, and the Clare Museum is a short walk away for anyone interested in the county’s history. There is more to see in Ennis and across Co. Clare.
