At Streete Parish Park · Kilmore Streete, Co. Westmeath/Longford border
Over three days in late June, Streete Parish Park in Co. Westmeath becomes one of the biggest vintage gatherings in the midlands - possibly the country. The Streete Vintage Club, founded in 2002 to raise funds for a local sports facility, has grown this show from its modest beginnings in a farmer’s field into a major annual occasion for anyone who loves old engines, classic tractors, and the culture that surrounds them. If you enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of machinery from an earlier era, this is a weekend worth planning around.
The 2026 show has two special tributes running through it: 60 years of the Toyota Corolla and 80 years of the Ferguson 20 - both significant milestones in motoring and farming history. Main sponsor Grange Motors of Mullingar, a local Toyota dealer, is backing the Corolla celebrations.
On the ground you can expect vintage cars, classic motorcycles, stationary engines, horse-drawn equipment, and a strong showing of farm tractors and machinery from across the Westmeath and Longford region. Past shows have featured impressive displays of Massey Ferguson tractors alongside pre-1935 vehicles in their own dedicated area. The club has over 3,400 followers on Facebook and draws exhibitors and visitors from well beyond the immediate area.
The event runs across Friday 26, Saturday 27, and Sunday 28 June, with the main day typically being Sunday. Admission pricing was not published at time of writing - check the club’s Facebook page closer to the date.
Streete Parish Park sits at Kilmore Streete, on or near the Westmeath-Longford border. The venue is approximately four miles off the N4 at Rathowen Church, making it straightforward to reach by car from Mullingar, Longford town, or Athlone. Follow signage from Rathowen on the day. On-site parking is standard for events of this size at a community park with surrounding fields.
There is no regular bus service to the village, so driving is the practical option for most visitors.
Westmeath is lakelands country - Lough Ree to the west and a scattering of smaller loughs across the midlands make for good walking and fishing after the show. There is more to see across Co. Westmeath.
