Take That - The Circus Live at Aviva Stadium

At Aviva Stadium · Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4

Take That The Circus Live at Aviva Stadium Dublin

Take That are bringing back one of the most spectacular pop productions ever staged, and Dublin gets the honour of closing out the tour. The Circus Live returns after its original 2009 run broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history - over 600,000 tickets sold in under five hours, with more than a million fans attending across the UK and Ireland. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald have promised to bring it back “bigger and bolder than ever”. The 4 July 2026 date at Aviva is the final night of the whole tour, with OneRepublic joining as special guests - exclusively for the Irish show.

What to expect

The Circus Live earned its name. The original production brought fire-breathers, stilt-walkers, acrobats, tap dancers, and a 30-foot mechanical elephant onto the stage - critics called it a trailblazing pop show that reset expectations for live entertainment. The 2026 revival is built on the same ambitions. On the music side, expect the full catalogue: Back for Good, Never Forget, Patience, Greatest Day, Shine, and the singles that span their whole career. Aviva holds 51,700 for concerts, so the staging can match the spectacle. Take That shows reward fans who arrive in the right mood - it is a night out as much as it is a gig.

Getting there

Aviva Stadium sits on Lansdowne Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. There is no parking on concert days. The DART is the simplest option: Lansdowne Road station is a two-minute walk from the stadium gates, with trains running from Connolly, Tara Street, and Pearse Street. Dublin Bus routes 4, 7, 7A, 18, 39A, and 46A also serve the area. Dublin Bus operates Nitelink services on Friday and Saturday nights, so getting home after the show is easy enough. A Leap Card saves time at ticket machines on the night.

While you’re in Ballsbridge

Ballsbridge is a good area to arrive into early - there are solid restaurants along Pembroke Road and Baggot Street, and the neighbourhood stays calm right up until the gates open. There is more to see in Ballsbridge and across Co. Dublin.
