Umbrella Productions present SIX: Teen Edition

At glor · Causeway Link, Ennis, Co. Clare, V95 VHP0

Cast of SIX Teen Edition in colourful costumes at glor Ennis

When six queens take the mic and rewrite the history books, the result is hard to sit still for. Umbrella Productions bring SIX: Teen Edition to glór in Ennis on Saturday 11 July 2026, with two performances - afternoon and evening - so you can pick the slot that suits. The show is a pop-concert musical built around the six wives of Henry VIII, each making her case for whose story was hardest to live. It is performed entirely by young people aged 13 to 19, and it lands with the full energy of the West End original: the songs are loud, the costumes are bold, and the queens do not hold back.

What to expect

SIX: Teen Edition is an age-appropriate version of the Broadway and West End hit by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, arranged for amateur youth casts through Concord Theatricals. The format is a concert rather than a traditional staging - think live band energy, stadium-pop choreography, and a rotating lead vocal structure where each of the six queens gets her moment. Catherine of Aragon opens, Anne Boleyn steals scenes, and the ensemble builds to a full-cast finale. The 75-minute no-interval format keeps the pace high from start to finish; there is no sitting around waiting for Act Two. This is Umbrella Productions presenting a local youth cast, so expect a community-theatre feel with real commitment and strong voices. Both the 2:00pm and 7:30pm performances run on Saturday 11 July; note that a previously listed Friday evening show was cancelled.

Getting there

Ennis sits on the N18 between Limerick and Galway, roughly 20 minutes from Shannon Airport. By public transport, Bus Eireann runs regular services into Ennis from Limerick, Galway, Dublin, and Cork; the nearest bus stop to glór is about a 6-minute walk. The train from Limerick takes around 40 minutes, with Ennis station a 12-minute walk from the venue. By car, glór is on Causeway Link in the town centre. There is a 90-space metered car park directly beside the venue, with one hour free parking; paid parking applies from 9am to 6pm. If the adjacent park is full, the town centre car parks on Abbey Street and Gort Road are a short walk.

While you’re in Ennis

Ennis is a compact, walkable town with a strong music and arts tradition, and glór is right in the middle of it. Before or after the show you are a few minutes from the main street, the 13th-century Ennis Friary, and the usual run of cafes and restaurants that fill up on a Saturday. There is more to see in Ennis and across Co. Clare.
