What to Expect

Valley parkrun is a free weekly 5k community event taking place every Saturday at 9:30am at Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey. The event is entirely organised and run by local volunteers. Participants can walk, jog or run at their own pace and spectators are always welcome. The event is suitable for all ages and standards. Volunteering roles are available - email valley@parkrun.com to get involved.

Good to Know

• Every Saturday at 9:30am, year-round (recurring weekly event).

• Venue: Valley Leisure Centre, 40 Church Road, Newtownabbey BT36 7LJ.

• Free to attend but one-time registration is required at parkrun.org.uk before your first visit.

• All abilities welcome - walking is actively encouraged.

• Volunteering is flexible - you can help as often or as little as you like.

Getting There

Valley Leisure Centre is on Church Road, Newtownabbey, off the Doagh Road. Regular Translink Metro bus services connect Newtownabbey to Belfast city centre.
