At 3Arena · North Wall Quay, Dublin 1
Few Irish acts could sell out a 13,000-capacity arena four nights running, but The Wolfe Tones are not like other acts. Since the early 1960s ballad boom in Dublin, Brian Warfield, Tommy Byrne and Noel Nagle have been making music that carries genuine weight - rebel songs, ballads and anthems woven so deep into Irish life that entire crowds know every word before the first note fades. These four nights at 3Arena in July 2026 are for anyone who has grown up with that music, and for younger listeners discovering what all the fuss is about.
The shows on 3, 4, 24 and 25 July bring together a band with more than sixty years of performance behind them, 16 studio albums, and a reputation built on stages from Dublin halls to Carnegie Hall in New York. They have been awarded the Freedom of the Cities of New York and Los Angeles - a measure of how deeply their music reaches into the Irish diaspora.
A Celtic Symphony, The Streets of New York, Go On Home British Soldiers and the full catalogue of songs that have passed from generation to generation make up sets that function as much as communal occasions as concerts. Support comes from The Wran and Catalpa. The 3 and 4 July dates are sold out, and 24 July has also gone - check Ticketmaster for remaining availability on 25 July. Tickets range from €51.20 to €159.45 including booking fee.
3Arena sits on North Wall Quay in Dublin’s Docklands, a short distance from the city centre. The Luas Red Line is the straightforward option - board at Jervis or Abbey Street and ride to The Point stop, which is right beside the venue. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Dublin Bus route 151 runs to Castleforbes Road, a two-minute walk from the entrance. If you are driving, the Point Village car park charges an evening flat rate of around €12 for concert-goers. Park-and-ride from the Red Cow Luas terminus is a popular alternative to avoid city-centre traffic on busy nights.
A night at 3Arena sits easily alongside a meal in the Docklands beforehand, or a walk along the Liffey from the city centre. There is more to see in Dublin and across Co. Dublin.
