Youghal Medieval Festival takes place on Sunday 2 August 2026 from 11am to 5pm in the grounds of St Mary’s College Gardens and the adjacent St Mary’s Collegiate Church in Youghal. Admission is free for all.
The festival features authentic medieval costumes, crafts, food, and entertainment from the era, making it a unique and family-friendly day out. Youghal’s well-preserved medieval town walls and architecture provide a fitting backdrop for the event, which draws visitors from across East Cork and beyond.
Youghal is on the N25 approximately 50km east of Cork City. Plenty of parking in Youghal town. Direct bus services from Cork City stop in Youghal town centre.
