What to Expect

Armagh County Agricultural Show and Country Festival takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 in the beautiful parkland of Gosford Forest Park near Markethill. As well as extensive livestock classes, equestrian events, crafts, and rural activities, the show features a dedicated Food Heartland Showcase bringing together some of the borough’s finest artisan food and drink producers. Past showcases have featured Long Meadow Cider, Moo Valley Gelato, Rosemount Cottage Farm Meats, Glorious Bakes, Apple Tree Farm, the Hemp and Honey Farm Co-op, Ballydown Milk, and Peggy’s Family Farm. The show typically runs from the early morning with gates opening around 7am and the main programme running through to late afternoon.

Getting There

Gosford Forest Park is near Markethill, off the A28 road between Armagh and Newry. A car is strongly recommended. Limited parking is available on the showground site; follow event signage on the day.
