Around the Town Festival Carrickfergus 2026

What to Expect

Around the Town is a community music and arts festival spread across Carrickfergus town centre. The 2026 edition is the third year of the festival and runs across 31 events over 9 days. The programme includes live music, stand-up comedy, brass band concerts, traditional music sessions, theatre, and interactive family events. The 2026 programme introduces The Blues Cafe, a dedicated evening of blues music. A silent disco for teens and adults has featured in previous years and is expected to return. Organised by Positive Carrickfergus in partnership with Deja Vu Promotions.

Getting There

Carrickfergus is easily reached by Translink train from Belfast (approx. 25 minutes) or by bus. Town centre venues are within walking distance of the train station.
