At Palace Venue & Nightclub · Bridge Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Sunday closes out the weekend at Palace Venue & Nightclub on Bridge Street, Tullamore, the third of the club’s three weekly nights, with DJs from 11pm and a late bar running to 2.30am. The venue operates Friday through Sunday each week, and Sunday tends to draw a slightly later-starting, more relaxed crowd than the Friday and Saturday nights either side of it.
DJs play from 11pm across the venue’s two floors, with the bar open until 2.30am closing. The club offers “premium cocktails mixed by professional mixologists” and an extensive wine and champagne list alongside the usual bar service, and there is a smoking terrace overlooking the main street and the dance floor. Palace also runs corporate hire Monday to Wednesday and pre-club sessions Thursday to Sunday, so the Sunday club night follows directly on from a full week of use rather than standing alone. Music runs to current chart and dance floor hits in keeping with the venue’s other nights, pitched at a general night-out crowd. As the last of the weekend’s three nights, Sunday can be quieter early on but still runs the full late-bar hours through to close.
Palace Venue & Nightclub is on Bridge Street in Tullamore town centre, within walking distance of the town’s main pubs and restaurants. Most patrons arrive on foot or by taxi from elsewhere in the town; there is no dedicated venue car park.
Tullamore is Offaly’s county town and home to Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey, distilled since 1829 on Bury Quay a short walk from Bridge Street. There is more to see in Tullamore and across Co. Offaly.
