AUsome Kids Club meets monthly at Wicklow Town Library for autistic and neurodivergent children aged 4 and up, with the next confirmed session on Saturday, 15 August 2026 from 11am to 12:30pm. The club has published its full run of 2026 dates on a poster distributed through the library and the club’s own Facebook page, so the schedule for the rest of the year is already fixed rather than announced month by month. It is free to attend, no diagnosis is required, and siblings are welcome alongside the child the session is aimed at.
Sessions run in a sensory-friendly space designed to strip out the noise and unpredictability of a typical children’s event, with activities such as quiet crafts and sensory play chosen for neurodivergent kids rather than adapted at short notice from a mainstream programme. A parent or guardian is required to stay for the full session, so it works as a shared activity rather than a drop-off class. Pre-booking is required through the club’s Facebook page or the QR code on its posters, and places are limited to keep each group small enough that children are not overwhelmed by crowding. After the August session, the club continues monthly on 19 September, 17 October, 21 November and 19 December 2026, always at the same time and venue, so families can plan around it well in advance.
Wicklow Town Library is on The Mall in Wicklow town centre, within walking distance of the train station and the town’s main bus stops. Paid parking is available at the venue and on nearby streets for families driving in from outside the town.
