The Belfast International Arts Festival is one of Ireland’s premier arts events, now in its 64th year. The 2026 edition runs for over three weeks across 30-plus venues, hosting more than 320 events spanning visual arts, theatre, dance, music, literature, and film. The festival brings international artists to Belfast alongside homegrown talent. The full programme is due to be revealed in August 2026; the visual arts strand typically includes exhibitions, open studios, and artist talks across the city.
