What to Expect

The Bushmills Salmon & Whiskey Festival celebrates local heritage, artisan producers and the region’s culinary excellence. The three-day festival features cookery demonstrations from local and celebrity chefs, whiskey tastings at the world-famous Bushmills Distillery, artisan markets, street food experiences, a self-guided Taste Trail sampling festival dishes and cocktails, fly casting and fly tying workshops, live music and street entertainment. Visitors can tour the Bushmills Salmon Station and meet local food makers at the showcase.

Good to Know

Running Friday 3 October to Sunday 5 October 2026. The Bushmills Distillery is open during the festival with regular tours. Artisan market features handmade crafts and local produce. Family activities and workshops throughout the weekend. Self-guided Taste Trail encourages sampling at multiple venues. Festival attracts visitors from across the region.

Getting There

Located in Bushmills village on the Causeway Coast, approximately 30 minutes from Derry city. Good road access via the A2. Limited on-street parking and overflow car parks available during the festival.
