Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championship Quarter-Finals

At Croke Park · Jones Road, Dublin 3, Co. Dublin

Glen Dimplex Camogie Championship quarter-final Croke Park

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship quarter-finals bring some of the sharpest inter-county hurling to Croke Park on 4 July 2026, packaged as a double-header alongside the All-Ireland Senior Hurling semi-finals. For Cork supporters, the stakes are real: Cork compete in Group 1 alongside Galway, Waterford, and Tipperary. The top two sides from that group advance directly to the semi-finals, while third and fourth place must go through the quarter-final round. Whether Cork are playing to earn their spot or watching rivals fight for it, this weekend is a serious moment in the calendar. The atmosphere at a packed Croke Park for a hurling-camogie double-header is something different - two of the fastest field sports in the world, back to back, in the largest GAA stadium on earth.

What to expect

Saturday 4 July sees the first of the quarter-final and hurling double-headers, with the camogie game preceding the All-Ireland Senior Hurling semi-final between Galway and Cork (throw-in 15:30). Tickets are purchased through Ticketmaster.ie and Universe.com; the same ticket typically covers both games in the double-header. Group 1 contains Galway, Cork, Waterford, and Tipperary, all strong provinces - Group 2, meanwhile, supplies the quarter-final opponents from Kilkenny, Limerick, Clare, Dublin, Offaly, and Wexford. Semi-finals follow on 25 July at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles, with All-Ireland Finals Day at Croke Park on 9 August. Come with your county colours, arrive early for the first throw-in, and plan to stay for the long afternoon.

Getting there

Croke Park is in Dublin 3, a short walk from Connolly Station, which is served by the DART and most Intercity rail routes from Cork. Dublin Bus routes 1, 11, 16, and 123 stop close to Jones Road. From Cork city, Iarnrod Eireann runs regular services from Cork Kent Station to Heuston Station (about 2 hours 30 minutes), then a short Luas Red Line hop or taxi across the city. If driving, parking at or near Croke Park on match day is limited - most supporters use park-and-ride or street parking in the suburbs and walk or bus in.

While you’re in Cork

If this is a day trip from Cork, it is easy to make a weekend of it - the city has a lively food and pub scene along the English Market and the Lee, and the journey up the country on match day has its own buzz. There is more to see in Cork and across Co. Cork.
