What to Expect

The Borris Horse Fair is one of the traditional horse and pony fairs in south Carlow, drawing farmers, dealers and horse enthusiasts to the village. While it is primarily a trade fair, families come to watch the horses and enjoy the general festive atmosphere in the village. The fair takes place on the main street and surrounding areas of Borris.

• Venue: Borris Village main street, Co. Carlow.

• Free to attend as a spectator.

• The village also has the impressive Borris House estate nearby for a family walk.

Getting There

Borris is on the R705, approximately 20km south of Carlow Town. Parking is available in and around the village.
