What to Expect

The Carlow Ceolway is a series of informal traditional Irish music sessions held on Friday mornings in June 2026. Sessions take place at The Royal Oak on Tullow Street in Carlow Town from 10am until noon, welcoming musicians and listeners of all levels. The Ceolway celebrates Carlow’s living tradition of Irish music and song in a relaxed, community-oriented setting. Musicians playing fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, tin whistle, guitar, and other traditional instruments gather each week.
