The Carlow Ceolway is a series of informal traditional Irish music sessions held on Friday mornings in June 2026. Sessions take place at The Royal Oak on Tullow Street in Carlow Town from 10am until noon, welcoming musicians and listeners of all levels. The Ceolway celebrates Carlow’s living tradition of Irish music and song in a relaxed, community-oriented setting. Musicians playing fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, tin whistle, guitar, and other traditional instruments gather each week.
Three Friday sessions in June 2026: June 12, 19, and 26, from 10am to noon.
Free to attend; all welcome.
Informal, all-levels event - both experienced musicians and curious listeners are encouraged.
The Royal Oak is on Tullow Street in Carlow Town centre, a short walk from the bus and train stations.
