Delta Sensory Gardens Family Visit

What to Expect

Delta Sensory Gardens is a 10-acre award-winning sensory garden at the Delta Centre on the outskirts of Carlow Town. Designed to be accessible to visitors of all abilities, it features themed sensory zones, raised planting beds, water features, a wildflower meadow and woodland walks. It is a popular and peaceful family destination open free to the public throughout summer.

Good to Know

• Open to visitors May to September, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and on selected weekends (check deltacentre.ie for opening days).

• Free admission.

• Venue: Strawhall, Carlow Town (off the Dublin Road).

• Cafe and toilets on site during opening hours.

Getting There

Delta Sensory Gardens is on the Strawhall estate on the Dublin Road side of Carlow Town, approximately 1.5km from the town centre. Car parking on site.
