Hurling for Cancer Research, supported by Centra, returns to Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow for 2026. The annual charity hurling match pits GAA stars and celebrities against each other to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society. The event was founded in 2011 by trainer Jim Bolger and jockey Davy Russell and has raised over EUR 2 million for cancer research since its inception. Adult tickets cost EUR 10 and children EUR 5, available in Centra and SuperValu stores nationwide.
Date: Monday 24 August 2026, throw-in at 7.30pm.
