Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

What to Expect

The Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin makes its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes for five nights from 16 to 21 July 2026, led by Bishop Denis Nulty. Pilgrims from County Carlow travel as part of the wider diocesan group. The group stays at Hotel Solitude in Lourdes. The pilgrimage includes participation in the Sanctuary’s regular programme of liturgies, the torchlight procession, baths at the sacred springs, and diocesan Masses.

The pilgrimage is organised in conjunction with Joe Walsh Tours and a deposit of EUR 200 is required to secure a place.
