Founded in 1946 and held each year on the third Sunday of August, the Tullow Agricultural Show - also known as the County Carlow Show - is one of the most established agricultural shows in Ireland. The 2026 show takes place on Sunday 16 August at Coppenagh House Farm, just outside Tullow town. The programme covers livestock and equestrian classes, dogs, domestic arts, and All-Ireland Championship Finals and Qualifiers. On the day visitors can enjoy cookery demonstrations from celebrity chefs, live music and dancing, vintage and farm machinery displays, food and trade stands, and children’s entertainment.
