Cork Area Commuter Rail - Public Consultation Drop-In in Mallow

What to Expect

Irish Rail is holding public drop-in consultation events across Cork on Phase 2 of the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme. The Mallow event runs from 4pm to 8pm on 9 July 2026. Staff will be on hand to explain proposals for new stations, improvements on the Cork-Mallow line, full electrification, and a new depot. Members of the public can ask questions and submit feedback directly.

Getting There

Mallow is on the Cork-Mallow-Dublin rail line from Cork Kent Station. Bus Eireann services also connect Mallow to Cork City.
