Cork Area Commuter Rail - Public Consultation Drop-In in Midleton

What to Expect

Irish Rail is holding public drop-in consultation events across Cork on Phase 2 of the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme. The Midleton event runs from 4pm to 8pm on 2 July 2026. Staff will be on hand to explain proposals for new stations including a new Water-Rock station near Midleton, full electrification of the Cork-Midleton line, and a new depot. Members of the public can ask questions and submit feedback directly.
