Disco Pigs by Enda Walsh - The Everyman Cork

At The Everyman · 15 MacCurtain Street, Cork, Co. Cork

Stage set for Disco Pigs at The Everyman Cork

What to Expect

Disco Pigs, Enda Walsh’s acclaimed play, returns to Cork at The Everyman with previews from Saturday October 31, 2026, an official opening on Friday November 6, and performances continuing through Saturday November 14. The play follows Pig and Runt, two Cork teenagers who share the same birthday, speak their own secret language and see their tight, closed world start to break apart as adulthood closes in. First staged in Cork in 1996, the play launched the careers of Walsh and original cast members Cillian Murphy and Eileen Walsh, and this production marks the first time Walsh has directed his own work. It runs a tight 1 hour 20 minutes with no interval and includes strong language throughout, with a school performance also scheduled during the run.

Getting There

The Everyman is on MacCurtain Street on Cork’s northside, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the city centre and around 5 minutes from Kent Station for train arrivals. City bus routes stop close by, with on-street and nearby car park parking for evening performances.

Given the two week run, the cheaper midweek and preview dates are the easiest to plan around, while Friday and Saturday evenings, including opening night, tend to be the first to fill up.
