At The Pav · 13 Carey's Lane, Cork City, Co. Cork
Electronic Party Ireland brings its HOTBOXX techno rave concept to The Pav on Carey’s Lane on Saturday 15 August 2026. The set-up is built around a 360-degree boiler-room-style cage placed at the centre of the dance floor, with a Mad Max-inspired design and the DJ booth positioned inside the cage itself, so ravers can dance both inside and around it through the night.
The night runs from 10.30pm to 2.30am, is restricted to over-18s, and the venue provides water service and a cloakroom for attendees. It sits within Cork’s small but consistent techno and electronic scene, alongside similar promoter-led nights that rotate through city-centre late bars, and organisers have promoted the event through Instagram in the run-up rather than a full public lineup announcement.
HOTBOXX is one of several branded rave concepts Electronic Party Ireland runs across different Irish cities, built around the same cage-in-the-centre production rather than a fixed resident lineup, so the Cork date brings that touring format to The Pav for the one night. The Pav’s Carey’s Lane room is a regular late-night venue in Cork city centre, and hosting a themed production like the boiler-room cage set-up marks this out from the venue’s more standard weekly DJ nights, so it is worth booking ahead given the room’s capacity is limited by the size of the cage installation itself.
Carey’s Lane runs off Paul Street in Cork city centre, close to the English Market and the main Patrick Street shopping area, and is a short walk from the South Mall and Patrick Street bus stops for anyone arriving from outside the centre.
