KISS Nights returns to The Pav on Carey’s Lane on Saturday 22 August 2026, hosted by Frank Jez and Mystic Gold with guest DJs Ghxst and AB Stylez on the decks. The four-hour set runs from 10.30pm to 2.30am and covers Afrobeats, hip-hop, amapiano, dancehall, R&B, Afro house and Baile funk, giving the night a broader Afro and Latin-leaning music policy than most of the straight house and techno nights running elsewhere in the city that weekend.
It is an in-person event and the organisers offer refunds up to seven days before the event, which is more flexible than the strict no-refunds policy several other Cork club nights operate. The Pav on Carey’s Lane has become one of the regular homes for Afrobeats and Afro-fusion nights in Cork city centre, and KISS Nights is one of the recurring brands using the room for guest-DJ sets through the year.
Bringing in guest DJs Ghxst and AB Stylez for this particular date signals a bigger-than-usual booking for the KISS Nights brand, since most of its regular dates run on resident DJs Frank Jez and Mystic Gold alone. The broad genre mix of Afrobeats, hip-hop, amapiano, dancehall, R&B, Afro house and Baile funk reflects the wider growth of Afro-Caribbean and Latin-influenced club nights in Cork over the past few years, which now sit alongside the city’s longer-established house, techno and indie club nights as a regular fixture on the weekend calendar.
Carey’s Lane runs off Paul Street in Cork city centre, close to the English Market and the Patrick Street shopping area, and within easy walking distance of the main South Mall and Patrick Street bus stops.
