Iconic Irish performer Mr Pussy headlines a night of drag cabaret comedy at The Everyman on MacCurtain Street, joined by special guests Kristin Kapelli, Magenta Fox, Tina D Parton and Kenny Todgers. The two-hour show, with an interval, mixes lip-sync performances, live vocals and camp comedy with what the venue describes as plenty of surprises, in a boundary-pushing format built around Mr Pussy’s decades-long reputation as one of Ireland’s most recognisable drag and cabaret entertainers.
The bill brings together several performers from Cork and further afield for a variety-style night rather than a single stand-up set, with comedy woven through the drag and cabaret acts across the running time. Because the format leans on live vocals and lip-sync numbers as much as spoken comedy, it plays more like a cabaret variety show than a traditional comedy club night, and the venue flags it as 18+ given the adult content and camp humour throughout.

Mr Pussy, the stage persona of veteran Irish entertainer Alan Amsby, has been a fixture of Irish drag and cabaret for decades, and shows built around the character typically combine musical numbers with sharp, ad-libbed comic patter aimed squarely at an adult audience.
