Neil Delamere: Reinventing the Neil - The Everyman Cork

At The Everyman · 15 MacCurtain Street, Cork City, Co. Cork

Neil Delamere performing stand-up comedy

What to Expect

Neil Delamere, familiar from RTE and UK television appearances including The Blame Game and Live at the Apollo, brings his new stand-up show Reinventing the Neil to The Everyman on MacCurtain Street. The show is built around whether it is worth fixing something that already works, and Delamere delivers it through his usual mix of rapid-fire observational humour, sharp asides and personal anecdotes drawn from his own life and career. The Sunday Times has called him “a wryly brilliant live performer,” and he remains one of the most consistently touring stand-ups on the Irish circuit.

The show runs around two hours with an interval and carries a 16+ age recommendation due to strong language throughout. Earlier dates for the same show at The Everyman, in March and May 2026, both sold out, with comedian Jim Elliot providing support at the May date, so this September date is the next confirmed chance to see the show in Cork and is likely to draw a strong crowd given the previous demand.

The Everyman itself is one of Cork’s best-known mid-sized theatres, with a proper raked auditorium that suits stand-up as well as its regular drama and musical programme, giving Delamere’s material more room to land than a smaller pub venue would. Given how quickly the earlier dates filled up, anyone keen to see this particular show is better off booking well ahead of the date rather than leaving it to the week of the show.
