Three established names on the Irish folk circuit share the glor stage for one night: Don Stiffe, Ger O’Donnell and Trevor Sexton. Don Stiffe has built a reputation as one of the strongest singer-songwriters to emerge from the Irish folk scene in recent years, with awards and critical acclaim both at home and abroad, and has recently been recording alongside Sharon Shannon for her upcoming album. Ger O’Donnell is a multi-instrumentalist best known for his voice and his acoustic guitar playing, with six chart-topping Irish singles to his name. Trevor Sexton brings a powerful voice and strong stage presence along with songwriting credits that include international chart hits. Individually and together they have been touring steadily across Ireland, the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and North America, and glor’s own listing describes the trio as one of the most exciting things happening in Irish music at the moment, with each performer taking turns on lead vocals through a set that mixes original material and well-loved folk songs.

Getting There

glor is on Causeway Link in Ennis town centre, within walking distance of the bus and rail station and the main town centre car parks. Ennis is well served by Bus Eireann routes from Limerick, Galway and Shannon Airport, and by rail on the Limerick to Ennis line, so the venue is easy to reach on public transport for anyone staying in town for the night.
