What to Expect

A significant diocesan pilgrimage to Knock Shrine on World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Archbishop Eamon Martin, Primate of all Ireland, will be the chief celebrant. The gathering celebrates the dignity and importance of grandparents and elderly members of our faith community.

Good to Know

Date: 26 July 2026 at 3pm. Archbishop Eamon Martin will lead the liturgy. Special attention paid to honouring and celebrating older members of the parish and church community. This is a diocesan-level event bringing together pilgrims from across the Diocese of Clogher.

Getting There

Knock is located in Co. Mayo. Parishioners from Fermanagh will need to arrange transport. Knock Basilica is accessible by car, approximately 90 minutes drive from Enniskillen.
