Fota Island Adventure Camp Summer 2026

What to Expect

Fota Island Adventure Camp runs for nine consecutive weeks from 29 June to 28 August 2026, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 2pm (or 4pm for full day). The camp is designed for children aged 7 to 15 and includes combat archery, orienteering, target practice, and bushcraft activities. The camp is set in the natural woodland and grounds of Fota Island, Co. Cork, and is run by qualified outdoor activity instructors.

Getting There

Fota Island is about 15 km east of Cork City. The Fota Irish Rail station (Cork-Cobh line) is on the island. By car, exit the N25 at Carrigtwohill.
