The 39th Foyle Film Festival is a six-week celebration of international cinema featuring award-winning films, immersive experiences, and industry events. The festival showcases work from around the world, with particular focus on emerging cinematic voices. Highlights include the prestigious Light In Motion (LIM) competition for filmmakers and animators worldwide.
Running from 18 November to 29 December 2026, the festival is led by Nerve Centre and is Northern Ireland’s longest-running film festival. It holds Oscar affiliation, BAFTA and BIFA recognition.
