At Multiple venues, Limerick city centre · Limerick city centre, Co. Limerick
Limerick hosts the first Futura Innovation Conference from Monday, 19 October to Wednesday, 21 October 2026, a new three-day event spread across more than ten venues in the city centre rather than a single conference hall. Organisers expect over 1,500 participants, 400 speakers and 200 sessions, built around Limerick’s established strengths in advanced manufacturing, life sciences and energy, with tickets starting at €199.
Futura is designed as a walkable, citywide conference rather than a single-site trade show, with sessions running across seven themed tracks in more than ten venues around Limerick city centre over the three days. The organisers, event producer Adeo InterActive, have built the programme around industry leaders, policymakers, investors, founders and researchers sharing a single environment, with the stated aim of moving ideas “from concept to application” rather than just showcasing them. Limerick’s strengths in advanced manufacturing, life sciences and energy shape much of the programme, though the seven tracks are pitched as overlapping lenses on innovation rather than strictly siloed subjects. It is billed as the first edition of what organisers intend as a multi-year event, with future editions planned once this inaugural year has run its course.
Limerick city centre is served by Colbert Station for rail and bus arrivals from Dublin, Cork and beyond, with the conference venues spread across a walkable area of the centre rather than one location, so most attendees will move between sessions on foot.
A three-day citywide conference is a good excuse to see more of the centre between sessions, from the riverside to the Milk Market. There is more to see in Limerick and across Co. Limerick.
