What to Expect

Run Galway Bay is the largest multi-distance running event in Galway City, held on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event features three distances: a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), and 10K run. The flat course follows the fabulous coastline of Galway Bay from The Claddagh to Salthill, Blackrock and back to The Claddagh, starting from Nimmo’s Pier.
