Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final 2026

At Croke Park · Jones Road, Dublin 3, Co. Dublin

All-Ireland Camogie Final Croke Park

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final is the biggest day in the camogie calendar, and in 2026 Cork are well placed to be part of it. The Rebels topped Group 1 of the championship - beating Galway and Tipperary along the way - and go into the semi-finals as genuine title contenders. If you follow Cork camogie or simply want to see some of the best hurling skill in the women’s game played at full pace on the biggest stage in Ireland, this is the day to pencil in.

What to expect

The final takes place at Croke Park on Sunday 9 August 2026, with throw-in at 3:30pm. All four grades - Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior and Junior - hold their All-Ireland Finals on the same afternoon, making it a full day of camogie in GAA headquarters. The Senior Final is the centrepiece. Cork must first get through their semi-final, scheduled for 25 July against Waterford. They go in as favourites, having topped Group 1 ahead of their Munster rivals. Croke Park on finals day has an atmosphere that is hard to match - a packed stand, county colours everywhere, and the best players in Ireland competing for the most coveted prize in their sport. Camogie finals at Croke Park have consistently drawn bumper crowds and strong television audiences in recent years, and 2026 is likely to follow suit.

Getting there

Croke Park is in Dublin 3, off Jones Road, a short walk from Drumcondra. For Cork supporters travelling up for the day, the train is the most practical option - Irish Rail runs regular services from Cork Kent Station to Dublin Heuston, with journey times of around two hours and fifteen minutes. From Heuston you can connect to the LUAS Red Line to reach the city centre, then pick up the LUAS Cross City or a bus northside. Dublin Bus routes 3, 11, 16, 123 and several others stop near the ground. Driving is possible but parking around Croke Park on finals day is limited and fills fast - public transport is strongly recommended. If you are making a weekend of it, there is a good choice of hotels along the quays and in the Drumcondra area close to the ground.

While you’re in Cork

If you are building a trip around Cork GAA, the city and county offer plenty to make a full visit of it - the English Market, the Lee Valley, and the coastline west toward Kinsale all reward a detour. There is more to see in Cork and across Co. Cork.
