At Goldie Chapel, Nano Nagle Place · Nano Nagle Place, Douglas Street, Cork City, Co. Cork
A one-night-only dinner with three of Cork’s most respected names in food, set inside a Victorian Gothic chapel - this is the kind of evening that stays with you. The Chef Collaboration Dinner at Goldie Chapel brings together Michelin-starred Rob Krawczyk of Restaurant Chestnut in Ballydehob, Bib Gourmand-awarded Aishling Moore of Goldie, and Head Pastry Chef Eric Nolan of the much-loved Good Day Deli. With just 60 seats available, it is one of the most intimate and sought-after events in the Cork on a Fork Fest calendar, and it tends to sell out quickly.
The evening takes place inside the Goldie Chapel at Nano Nagle Place - a beautifully restored 1865 chapel designed by architect George Goldie, set within one of Cork’s most quietly remarkable heritage sites. Guests begin with a garden drinks reception before moving into the chapel for a collaborative menu focused on exceptional seasonal Irish produce. Paired drinks are included throughout the meal. The three chefs bring very different registers to the table: Krawczyk’s Chestnut has long been a benchmark for West Cork fine dining; Moore’s Goldie on Cornmarket Street is known for its whole-fish cooking and straight-to-the-point approach to the best of the day’s catch; and Good Day Deli has built a loyal following in Cork for its precise, considered approach to pastry and café food. The collaboration is not a compromise but a conversation between distinctive cooking styles, with the chapel setting adding something genuinely special to the atmosphere.
Nano Nagle Place is on Douglas Street in Cork City centre, about a 10-minute walk south of Patrick Street. By car, Cork is on the M8 from Dublin (roughly two and a half hours), the N25 from Waterford, or the N22 from Kerry. The city has several public car parks close to the centre - paid on-street parking is available on nearby streets but fills fast in the evening; the Lavitts Quay or South Main Street car parks are both a short walk. Cork Kent rail station connects to Dublin Heuston and Limerick, and Bus Éireann serves Cork from most major towns. From the station, the venue is about 20 minutes on foot or a short taxi.
Cork City is worth an unhurried day before or after the dinner - the English Market alone justifies the trip, and the surrounding streets have a cluster of good independent cafés and wine bars. There is more to see in Cork and across Co. Cork.
