Ilana Glazer - Live!

At Vicar Street · 58-59 Thomas Street, Dublin 8, Co. Dublin

Ilana Glazer stand-up comedy show at Vicar Street Dublin

Ilana Glazer brings her headline stand-up tour to Vicar Street on 18 July 2026, performing material from her forthcoming special Ilana Glazer Live! - the follow-up to her 2024 Hulu special Human Magic. Best known as the co-creator and co-star of Comedy Central’s Broad City, Glazer is one of the sharpest voices in stand-up right now: feminist, frank, and genuinely funny. Comedy fans who enjoy personal storytelling with a pointed perspective on modern life will feel right at home here.

What to expect

Glazer’s live shows are built around confession and character - she goes deep into her own experience, from the chaos of new motherhood to the big messy questions of being a woman in the world right now. Her 2024 Hulu special Human Magic was praised for how focused the material felt, and the Ilana Glazer Live! tour carries new material being recorded for an upcoming special. Vicar Street, open since 1998 and with a capacity of around 1,050 for seated shows, has the intimacy and acoustics to make a comic’s set land properly - it has hosted everyone from Bob Dylan to Tommy Tiernan. Doors open at 6:00 pm, bars from 6:30 pm, show at 7:00 pm. Age guidance is 14+.

Getting there

Vicar Street sits on Thomas Street in the Liberties, Dublin 8. Dublin Bus routes 13, 40 and 123 stop nearby. The Red Line Luas stops at Fatima (about a 10-minute walk) and the Luas Cross City serves Smithfield on the north side. If you are driving, street parking is limited in the evenings - Lamb Alley car park near Christ Church is the nearest paid option. Those arriving by rail into Heuston Station are a short taxi or 20-minute walk away.

While you’re in Dublin

The Liberties is one of Dublin’s oldest quarters - the Guinness Storehouse on James’s Street and the covered Iveagh Markets are both a short walk from the venue. There is more to see in Dublin and across Co. Dublin.
