At Fraher Field · Fraher Field, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
A second Inclusion Cul Camp for children aged 6 to 13 runs at Fraher Field in Dungarvan from Wednesday, 19 August to Friday, 21 August 2026, bringing the same low support needs GAA camp format that runs in Waterford city to west Waterford. Sessions run from 1:30pm to 3pm each day and cost €35 per child, including a jersey and zip top.
The Dungarvan camp follows directly on from the Waterford city dates, giving families in west Waterford a local option rather than a trip across the county. It runs on the pitch at Fraher Field, Dungarvan’s main GAA and athletics grounds, with coaching adapted for children with additional needs across three afternoons of Gaelic football and hurling basics. Like the Waterford city camp, it is organised by Waterford Sports Partnership working with Waterford GAA’s games development team, and places are limited, with booking taken through the Kellogg’s Cul Camps website or directly with Waterford Sports Partnership’s inclusion coordinators. The €35 fee covers a camp jersey and zip top for each child to keep.
Fraher Field is on the edge of Dungarvan town, within walking distance of the town centre for anyone staying locally, and has car parking on site for the camp’s afternoon sessions. Dungarvan is served by Bus Éireann routes along the west Waterford coast.
Fraher Field is a few minutes from Dungarvan’s harbour and town centre, so the afternoon camp slot leaves the morning free to explore the town. There is more to see and do in Dungarvan and across Co. Waterford.
