Inclusion Cul Camp - Waterford City

At Azzurri Walsh Park · Keane's Road, Waterford City, Co. Waterford

Children taking part in GAA coaching at an Inclusion Cul Camp

An Inclusion Cul Camp for children aged 6 to 13 runs at Azzurri Walsh Park in Waterford city from Monday, 17 August to Wednesday, 19 August 2026, giving children with additional needs a three-day introduction to Gaelic football and hurling. Sessions run from 10:30am to 12pm each day on the grass pitch, and cost €35 per child, which includes a jersey and zip top.

What to expect

The camp is a low support needs version of the standard Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camp format, adapted so children with additional needs can take part in the same style of Gaelic football and hurling coaching that runs in Cul Camps across the country. It runs on the grass pitch at Walsh Park, Waterford GAA’s home ground on Keane’s Road. The same week, Waterford Sports Partnership also runs an All Stars GAA camp for teenagers aged 13 to 18 with low support needs at the same venue, in the early afternoon after the children’s sessions finish. Both camps are organised jointly by Waterford Sports Partnership and Waterford GAA’s games development staff, and can be booked through the Kellogg’s Cul Camps website or directly with Waterford Sports Partnership.

Getting there

Walsh Park is on Keane’s Road in Waterford city, a short drive or bus ride from the city centre, and is well known locally as Waterford GAA’s home ground. There is parking on site for drop-off and collection.

While you’re in Waterford

Walsh Park sits close to Waterford city centre, so a morning at the camp leaves the rest of the day free for the Viking Triangle or the riverside. There is more to see and do in Waterford and across Co. Waterford.
